The following services are run, by appointment, at the surgery:
Midwife Antenatal Clinic
Coronary Heart Disease Prevention Clinic
- Please arrange an appointment via the receptionist.
Diabetic Clinic
- Please arrange an appointment via the receptionist.
Asthma Clinic
- Please arrange an appointment via the receptionist.
Cervical Smear Clinic
- Please arrange an appointment via the receptionist with a female doctor or one of the nurses.
Childhood Immunisation Clinic
- You will normally receive written advice from the surgery when routine immunisations are due. School-age children will be contacted directly by the School Health Department.
Well Baby Clinic
Contraception Services
- By appointment with your GP.
Child Health Surveillance
- By appointment with your GP.
Minor Surgery Services
- If your doctor suggests that you need a minor operation, please arrange a combined appointment with the doctor and nurse. The doctor will advise you as to the duration of the appointment required.
Well Person Clinic
- Basic health checks by appointment with the healthcare assistant.
Travel Advice/Immunisation
- A full travel advice service is offered. Some holiday vaccinations attract a fee. We are an accredited Yellow Fever Centre. Please arrange an appointment with the nurse.
- Please note that a charge will be made for non-attendance to a pre-booked travel clinic appointment.
Wart Clinic
- Doctors can all treat warts in a normal surgery on Monday afternoon / evening by cryotherapy - a form of freezing with liquid nitrogen. If you think you need treatment, please make an appointment with a doctor. .Phlebotomy
- Please make an appointment via the receptionist.
Carer Advice
- The surgery has a “Carer's Lead” to give advice and information on services relating to carer's needs. If you care for someone by providing personal care and help with daily living requirements on a regular basis and without payment, then you are able to register as a carer at the surgery.

In-House Services
The practice provides a variety of services for its patients which would normally only be provided in hospital. These include: physiotherapy, counselling and dietary advice. Access to these services is by referral from your GP.
Nurses Clinics
Travel immunisation advice/injections, cervical smears, wound dressing, removal of sutures, routine injections, blood tests, general treatment of minor injuries, ECG tests, flu vaccinations (Oct/Nov), ear syringing, blood pressure checks and asthma and diabetic clinics.
